1. Booking & Payment
To secure your event date, a non-refundable booking fee of $200 is required. This amount is applied toward the total hire price. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 21 days prior to the event date.
Bookings made within 21 days of the event require full payment upfront. Your booking is confirmed only once payment has been received and a confirmation email has been issued.
If the remaining balance is not received by the due date, Snapshot Serenade reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the booking fee.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations must be submitted via email to sss.snapshotserenade@gmail.com.
Please note that the booking fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
The refund policy for cancellations is as follows:
14 days or more before the event: Refund of any additional payments made, excluding the booking fee.
7–14 days before the event: 50% of the total hire fee is refundable, excluding the booking fee.
Less than 7 days before the event: The total hire fee is non-refundable.
Clients are entitled to one complimentary date change if notice is provided at least 21 days in advance. Additional date changes may incur a fee.
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 30 business days.
Cancellations are deemed effective only once written confirmation has been issued by Snapshot Serenade.
3. Postponements & Force Majeure
In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond either party’s reasonable control (including but not limited to government restrictions, natural disasters, or venue closures), Snapshot Serenade will issue a credit note valid for 12 months from the original event date.
Refunds are not available for such occurrences.
4. Access, Setup & Requirements
A minimum space of 2.5m (L) x 2.5m (H) x 2.5m (D) is required for standard photo booth setups. A 240V power outlet must be available within 5 meters of the designated setup area.
Setup requires approximately 30–90 minutes. Please ensure appropriate access and sufficient setup time are provided.
If access or setup conditions are delayed, restricted, or unsafe, Snapshot Serenade may reduce the hire duration accordingly without refund.
5. Damages & Responsibility
The client is responsible for any damage to equipment or decorative items caused by guests, venue staff, or other vendors during the hire period.
Any damage will be assessed and invoiced following the event.
Clients must ensure guests use all equipment safely and appropriately. Normal wear and tear is excluded from liability.
6. Service & Technical Issues
Snapshot Serenade aims to provide uninterrupted and high-quality service.
In the event of a partial service interruption, a partial refund may be offered at our discretion.
If a complete service failure occurs due to a fault on our part, a full refund or credit will be provided.
Snapshot Serenade accepts no responsibility for disruptions caused by external factors, including venue power failures, internet outages, or other events beyond our control.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.
7. Use of Photos & Videos
Unless otherwise requested in writing, Snapshot Serenade may use photos and videos captured during your event for marketing, social media, and website purposes.
We are committed to respecting client privacy and will not misuse imagery.
Clients may request in writing that their content not be used for promotional purposes.
All personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Add-On Services
Decorative features such as flower walls, neon signage, and backdrops are provided for photographic purposes only.
Clients and guests must not lean on, move, or alter these items. Any damage will be charged to the client.
If a selected decorative item is unavailable, Snapshot Serenade reserves the right to provide a comparable replacement of equal value.
9. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for ensuring venue approval for photo booth setup and must provide accurate event details, including time, location, and access arrangements.
Adequate weather protection must be provided for outdoor events.
Failure to meet these requirements may affect service delivery.
If setup or access is denied by the venue, this will be treated as a client cancellation in accordance with Section 2.
10. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Snapshot Serenade reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of booking will apply.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
Snapshot Serenade’s total liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking.
